The Chemical Booth Look, Without the Chemicals
The old chemical booths pulled their look straight out of the dip tank: warm tones, soft grain, and a glow that flattered everyone who squeezed onto the bench. We recreate that finish digitally, so guests get the same timeless portrait without waiting on a darkroom (or hoping the chemistry was still fresh).

Power
Access to a single, dedicated standard outlet (10a 125v) within 15' of booth location. The Vintage Booth uses studio lighting, camera equipment, and instant print hardware that require stable continuous power.
Internet
WiFi is recommended with at least 5Mbps upload/download for live digital sharing via text and email. If internet is limited or unavailable, captures are queued and delivered once connectivity is restored.
Floor Space
Minimum 8'x8' footprint is recommended, with 10'x10' preferred for comfortable guest flow, backdrop placement, and attendant movement during peak traffic periods.
Max Guests
Optimized for individuals, couples, and small groups of up to 6 guests per session depending on backdrop configuration and framing preference.
Lead Time
Book at least several weeks out, or a couple of months for custom overlays, rear monitor design, and additional brand styling. Depending on what you need and where, a standard Vintage Booth may be ready in as little as 24 hours.
Deliverable
Booth by Flashbulb vintage-style photo strips, instant prints for guests, and optional live digital sharing by text/email. Includes hosted online gallery delivery after the event.
Setup & Strike
Setup typically takes 45-60 minutes with 60-90 minutes of arrival buffer before go-live. Strike usually takes 30-45 minutes depending on venue load-out access.
Throughput
Typical throughput is 40-60 sessions per hour depending on print format and guest group size. Parallel queueing keeps lines moving while maintaining premium output quality.
Insurance
Full $2M GL Policy with ability to add venue and client(s) as additional insured party. Optional Waiver of subrogation and Noncontributory policy endorsements available. Also listed as an approved vendor and EAC at most major venues and tradeshows.
