Galactic Photo Experience at Spacecom with Lifescale Analytics
How our AI photo booth turned Spacecom attendees into astronauts at Booth #711 — a Flashbulb Memories collaboration with Lifescale Analytics at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, January 30 to February 1, 2024.
Every trade show floor has two kinds of booths: the ones people walk past, and the ones people text their coworkers about. From January 30 to February 1, 2024, Booth #711 at the Orange County Convention Center was firmly the second kind — because that's where Spacecom attendees were going to space.
The occasion was the Spacecom Global Commercial Space Conference and Exposition in Orlando, where the commercial space industry gathers under one very large roof. We teamed up with Lifescale Analytics to give their booth a gravity all its own: our AI photo booth supplied the spectacle, and their data expertise kept guests talking long after the shutter clicked. (More on that in a minute.)

The Ultimate Space Selfie: How the AI Photo Booth Worked
Our AI photo booth isn't just a camera setup — it's a gateway to the stars. A guest steps up, we capture their image, and our advanced AI seamlessly integrates it into a stunning space backdrop. One moment you're a conference attendee with a lanyard; the next you're an astronaut suspended in the grand cosmos.
For a commercial space conference, we can't imagine a more on-theme keepsake — a memento that's genuinely out of this world (and judging by the reactions at Booth #711, attendees agreed). It's a fun, engaging way to commemorate a conference visit and see yourself in a new light. Or a new galaxy.
Lifescale Analytics: Data Meets the Cosmos
While we supplied the technological wizardry, Lifescale Analytics brought the substance that made the booth worth lingering at. They specialize in simplifying complex business and technical challenges, leveraging data for actionable intelligence in fields like cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, geospatial solutions, and more. Their presence at Spacecom — alongside partners like Snowflake, Fornetix, and Ready Willing & Abel — highlighted just how tightly data technology and space exploration have converged.
That pairing is exactly why the activation worked. The astronaut portrait pulled people into the booth; the conversations with Lifescale's experts kept them there. Guests came for a photo and stayed to explore what data can do in space and beyond — networking, learning, and walking away with both a portrait and a new perspective.
More Than a Photo Op: Why the Activation Worked
Here's the not-so-secret physics of a show floor: attention creates conversation, and conversation creates opportunity. A trade show photo booth is the rare attraction that does both jobs at once — it stops aisle traffic like a giveaway and opens conversations like a great icebreaker, no cold pitch required.
At Spacecom, every portrait was a conversation starter. Every share sent Lifescale's activation riding along into someone's feed. Every guest left with a keepsake that made Booth #711 impossible to forget. That's what we mean when we say this collaboration was more than a photo opportunity: it was the intersection of data science, technology, and the limitless imagination of space exploration — condensed into a single booth.
It's also why partners keep inviting us onto their show floors. Don't just take our word for it — read what our clients say after their events.
Mission Recap: Three Days Among the Stars
Spacecom 2024 goes down as one of our favorite mission logs: three days, one cosmic backdrop, and a steady stream of guests who arrived as conference-goers and left as astronauts. If your next booth could use that kind of pull, your space suit is ready — and the stars are waiting.
